WooCommerce is an e-commerce plugin for WordPress that allows you to add an online store to a WordPress website. It is not a standalone CMS and requires a WordPress installation. Typical features include product management, a shopping cart, and order processing, as well as integration with payment and shipping methods. Both the store and the rest of the website’s content are managed within the same system. Hosting and updates are the responsibility of the website operator.
