Pre-production is the preparatory phase of a video production. Before the camera starts rolling, the objectives, content, filming locations, schedule, and personnel required are determined. Depending on the project, scripts or storyboards may also be created. Thorough preparation ensures that everyone involved knows exactly what needs to be done during filming and helps avoid unnecessary delays.
